Honey Almond Slurry

Ingredients

1 cup (12 oz / 340 g) honey
1 cup (8 oz / 227 g) unsalted butter, melted or at room temperature
1/4 teaspoon salt, or 3/8 teaspoon coarse kosher salt
1 teaspoon (0.25 oz / 7 g) almond extract

Preparation

  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a mixing bowl. If using a mixer, use the paddle attachment and mix on medium-high speed for about 2 minutes. If mixing by hand, stir vigorously with a large spoon for about 2 minutes. The mixture should be smooth and homogeneous.
