1 cup bottled mayonnaise
1 teaspoon freshly grated lemon zest
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon minced fresh dill
1/2 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper

Preparation

  1. In a bowl stir together the mayonnaise, the zest, the lemon juice, the dill, and the pepper. Serve the sauce with cooked asparagus or other vegetables or as a dip with crudités.
