Roasted Asparagus with Sesame Seeds and Sesame Oil

Ingredients

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven or toaster oven to 400°F. For roasting, I prefer medium rather than slender spears so they don’t dwindle to nothing. Trim about an inch from the bottoms, then peel the bottom halves of the spears. Arrange the spears on a lightly oiled baking pan and drizzle with sesame oil. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Roast until tender and lightly browned, stirring occasionally, 10 to 15 minutes.
