12 large vine-ripened tomatoes (about 6 pounds), sliced
salt to taste
freshly ground black pepper to taste
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
Preparation
Step 1
On a large platter overlap tomatoes slightly and sprinkle with pepper and salt to taste.
Step 2
Drizzle tomatoes with vinegar and serve at room temperature.
